    Dad, what's the secret of your marinade?

    Лук, соль, перец. Больше ничего.

    Onions, salt, pepper. Nothing else.

    Не может быть! Все ведь думают, что там какой-то секрет.

    No way! Everyone thinks there's some kind of secret to it.

    Секрет в терпении. Жаришь, как только угли побелеют, не раньше.

    The secret is patience. You grill as soon as the coals turn white, not before.

    Так вот почему у меня шашлык всегда сухой!

    So that's why my shashlik is always dry!
