    Пап, а почему мы Кузнецовы? Мы ведь не кузнецы.

    Dad, why are we Kuznetsovs? We're not blacksmiths.

    Мы-то нет. А вот кто-то из наших предков, наверное, был, отсюда и фамилия.

    We aren't, no. But one of our ancestors probably was, that's where the name comes from.

    А что он делал? Мечи, как в кино?

    And what did he make? Swords, like in the films?

  4. B

    Какие там мечи! Подковы, гвозди, замки... А главное, чинил всё, что ломалось.

    Swords, my foot! Horseshoes, nails, locks... And above all, he fixed everything that broke.

    Тогда ты и мой велосипед починишь. Ты же тоже Кузнецов!

    Then you'll fix my bike too. You're a Kuznetsov too!

    Так вот ты к чему! Ладно, кати его сюда.
