Young man, stop! The ice is still thin, where are you going with that box?

I'm staying right by the shore, not far.

If the ice were thicker, I'd be sitting out there myself already.

Обидно. Я ради этой рыбалки из Петрозаводска ехал, несмотря на снегопад.
What a shame. I drove all the way from Petrozavodsk for this fishing, despite the snowfall.
