Day 5 - Relationship Advice

Today's Tasks

1. Read the lesson context.
2. Listen to the audio clips several times until the sounds feel familiar. Do not repeat aloud—just listen and absorb.
3. Download the Anki deck and review it daily. It includes all the audio clips in today's lesson for efficient review. Review previous decks if prompted to do so.
4. Spend at least 30 minutes listening to native Russian audio. It doesn't matter if you don't understand it.

  Listen, I have a problem: my girlfriend and I had a fight yesterday.

  Что случилось? Из-за чего поссорились?

  What happened? What did you fight about?

  Да глупость. Я забыл про нашу годовщину, и она обиделась.

  It was stupid. I forgot about our anniversary, and she got upset.

  Понимаю. Любая девушка расстроилась бы на её месте.

  I see. Any girl would be upset if that happened.

  Что мне теперь делать? Я уже извинился, но она почти не разговаривает со мной.

  What do I do now? I already apologized, but she's barely talking to me.

  Может, стоит устроить для неё сюрприз? Купи цветы, приготовь ужин, покажи, что тебе не всё равно.

  Maybe you should do something special for her? Buy flowers, cook dinner, show her that you care.
