   Lieutenant, I've already filed a complaint: my neighbour has put up a camera, and it's pointing straight at my plot.

   Заявление ваше я читал, Виктор Семёнович, потому и приехал. Сосед утверждает, что камера снимает только его машину.

   I've read your complaint, Viktor Semyonovich, that's why I came. Your neighbour claims the camera only films his car.

   Именно так. У меня в прошлом месяце колёса сняли, вот я и повесил камеру над воротами.

   That's right. Last month someone took the wheels off my car, so I put a camera up over the gate.

   Над воротами, а угол такой, что у неё как на ладони и моя теплица, и баня, и я сам, простите, после бани.

   Over the gate, but at such an angle that it can see everything: my greenhouse, my bathhouse, and me myself, excuse me, after the bathhouse.

   Давайте по порядку. Снимать свой участок человек вправе, а вот снимать частную жизнь соседа без его согласия закон не разрешает.

   Let's take this step by step. A person has the right to film his own plot, but the law doesn't allow filming a neighbour's private life without his consent.

   I believe you. Nevertheless, as long as the camera looks into someone else's garden, it's an invasion of privacy, so just turn it.
