Day 34 - Borrowing a Tool

Today's Tasks

  1. Read the lesson context.
  2. Listen to the audio clips several times until the sounds feel familiar. Do not repeat aloud—just listen and absorb.
  3. Download the Anki deck and review it daily. It includes all the audio clips in today's lesson for efficient review. Review previous decks if prompted to do so.
  4. Spend at least 30 minutes listening to native Russian audio. It doesn't matter if you don't understand it.

Hi, neighbor. Hey, could you help me out: will you lend me your drill for a couple of hours?
  • 2.
Hey. Sure, I can. Planning to drill something?
  • 3.
Yeah, I want to hang a shelf and I don't have a drill.
  • 4.
Got it. I'll bring it over now. I have one with various drill bits.
  • 5.
Great, thanks. Doing it by hand won't work; the walls are concrete.
  • 6.
No problem. Just be careful, the chuck wobbles a bit, but it works fine.
  • 7.
Alright, I'll keep that in mind. I'll return it when I'm finished, closer to the evening.
  • 8.
No rush, use it as you need. If anything comes up, stop by and I'll help.
