    Grandpa, I got a three out of five for my dictation. Because of commas again.

    Как же так? Ты ведь правила учил.

    How come? You learned the rules, didn't you?

    Учил. Но так и не запомнил.

    I did. But I just couldn't remember them.

  4. B

    Знаешь, у меня в школе с запятыми тоже беда была.

    You know, I had trouble with commas at school too.

    Правда? А мама говорит, что ты отличником был.

    Really? But Mom says you were a top student.

  6. B

    По математике был. Давай каждый вечер вместе диктанты писать?

    In maths I was. How about we write dictations together every evening?
