On the night train from Moscow to Adler in July, a young conductor on his first trip turns to the senior conductor for help.

A boy in compartment five has lost his toy rabbit and he's crying. The whole car is in an uproar.

First listen to him calmly. Toys usually fall down behind the lower berth, shine a torch back there.

The rabbit turned up, the boy is already asleep! But a man in number seven is demanding we open the window, he says he can't breathe.

The window here doesn't open, but we can turn the air conditioning colder. Don't argue, just offer that.
