   Arkady Semyonovich, the concert is in an hour, and the pianist has already arrived! Could you go a bit faster?

   I could, but then the pianist won't thank you. A grand piano doesn't like to be rushed.

   Last time you managed in half an hour! Just do it any old how, the audience won't notice.

   The audience may not notice, but the pianist will at once. I don't do sloppy work: slow and steady wins the race.
