A
Good morning, Yuri Petrovich! Some frost today, minus five.
-
B
Wait, don't start it! Knock on the bonnet first, and hard.
-
A
Why? Is that some kind of superstition?
-
B
Superstition, nothing! In frosty weather cats climb under the bonnet to warm up while the engine still has some heat.
-
A
Oh, you're right, something's squeaking in there! I'll open the bonnet.
-
B
Look at that, a kitten, a tiny one! Well, since you saved him, he's yours to take home.
