Two hours to the banquet, a hundred and twenty guests, and no fish. Who's going to tell me where the zander is?

Шеф, поставщик клянётся, что машина вышла ещё утром, но она где-то намертво встала на КАДе.
Chef, the supplier swears the van left this morning, but it's stuck solid somewhere on the ring road.

Если бы вы вчера подтвердили заказ, как я вам говорил, машина пришла бы к шести утра.
If you'd confirmed the order yesterday, like I told you, the van would have been here by six this morning.

Ты меня ещё поучи, как заказы делать. Сам вчера полсмены на заготовке возился и лук так и не дорезал.
Oh, so now you're teaching me how to place orders? You spent half your shift on prep yesterday and still didn't finish the onions.

Stop, both of you, we'll look for someone to blame tomorrow. Right now I need a main course for a hundred and twenty: what have we got in the fridges?

Duck legs for about forty portions, pork for tomorrow's business lunch, and around fifteen kilos of salmon for the tartare.

Chef, what if we bake the salmon with the same sauce we had for the zander? We keep the presentation and change one word on the menu.

Вот, дело говоришь. Сёмгу в печь, ножки на второе горячее, утку завтра в стоп-лист, и все за работу, живо.
Now you're talking. Salmon in the oven, the duck legs as a second main, duck goes on tomorrow's stop list, and everyone get to work, quickly.
