   Смотри, какой фокус: «Дом, вечерний режим». Шторы закрываются сами, свет приглушается, и тихо включается музыка.

   Watch this trick: "Home, evening mode." The curtains close by themselves, the lights dim, and music comes on quietly.

   Эффектно, не спорю. Впрочем, у меня ощущение, что нас тут не двое, а трое, и третий всё записывает.

   Impressive, I won't argue. Then again, I've got a feeling there aren't two of us here but three, and the third one is writing everything down.

   Да брось, это просто датчики. Зато холодильник сам заказывает продукты, когда что-то заканчивается, удобно же.

   Oh come on, they're just sensors. But the fridge orders food by itself when something runs out, it's handy.

   Normal, you say? Then what's that just flashed up on your fridge: "Andrei, third piece of cake today, a reminder about your diet"?

   Well... I set it up once, after a talk with my doctor. Who knew it would start lecturing me in front of guests?

   So much for privacy. Today the fridge is watching your cake, and tomorrow your insurance company will know more about you than your wife does.
