   Dear residents, the first item on the agenda: installing a barrier at the entrance to the courtyard. Please speak one at a time.

   Я категорически против. Я таксист, выезжаю в пять утра, и что, каждый раз ждать, пока эта палка поднимется?

   I'm totally against it. I'm a taxi driver, I head out at five in the morning, and what, I'm supposed to wait every time for that pole to go up?

   А я за. Во дворе дети на самокатах, а чужие машины носятся, как по трассе, и паркуются на газонах.

   And I'm for it. There are kids on scooters in the courtyard, and other people's cars race through like it's a motorway and park on the lawns.

   Позвольте старику слово. У сына в Академгородке шлагбаум открывается звонком с телефона: набрал номер и въезжай хоть в пять утра.

   Allow an old man a word. At my son's place in Akademgorodok the barrier opens when you ring it from your phone: dial the number and drive in, even at five in the morning.
