   Krasnoyarsk, come in, this is Dikson. Vitya, it's about your forecast for tomorrow: do you people ever look out of the window?

   I hear you, Arkady Ilyich. With high probability the model sends the storm further west, it'll only brush Dikson with its edge.

   Your model has never lived on an island. But here the pressure's been dropping like a stone since morning, and the north-west has clouded over the way it does before a blizzard.

   You'll get your figures. Pressure falling three millimetres an hour, wind at twenty metres a second, and the dogs won't come out of their kennel.
