   Hello, I was told you know about meteorites. Here, I found this near Chebarkul while I was picking mushrooms.

   Разбираюсь, но каждый второй мне приносит шлак из печки. Давайте посмотрим: сначала магнит, потом лупа.

   I do, but every other person brings me slag from a stove. Let's have a look: first the magnet, then the magnifying glass.

   Смотрите, прилип! Это же хороший знак, правда?

   Look, it stuck! That's a good sign, isn't it?

   Прилипнет и старый гвоздь. А вот корка, судя по всему, оплавленная, и на сколе видны светлые вкрапления металла.

   An old nail would stick too. But the crust, by the look of it, has been melted, and you can see light specks of metal where it's chipped.

   Предположительно да: осколок того самого, две тысячи тринадцатого года. Лежи он в воде, давно бы проржавел, а в песке прекрасно сохранился.

   Presumably yes: a fragment of the famous one, from 2013. Had it been lying in water, it would have rusted long ago, but in the sand it has kept perfectly.

   And how much could one like this be worth? I've heard collectors pay by the gram.

   Платят, и неплохо. Но на вашем месте я бы отдал его в музей: там его увидят тысячи людей, а не один коллекционер.

   They do, and pay well. But in your place I'd give it to a museum: there thousands of people will see it, not just one collector.
