   Nikolai Stepanovich, I'll ask you not to wave your arms about in front of the specialist. The fence stands where we put it up in ninety-six.

   Exactly, Viktor Semyonovich, it stood there. But last spring you 'adjusted' it, and my blackcurrants suddenly ended up on your side.
